Revolutionizing Pallet Handling: The Future of Industrial Automation
The Pallet Delivery System
In today's fast-paced manufacturing world, efficiency and precision are paramount. The need for innovative solutions to optimize pallet handling processes has never been greater. That's where our cutting-edge Pallet Delivery System comes into play. With 2 programmed robots, full conveying capabilities, and a vision system to ensure smooth operation, this system is set to transform the way we handle pallets in the industrial landscape.
Our Pallet Delivery System is a state-of-the-art solution designed to handle a wide range of pallet sizes efficiently. Whether it's a 48x45, 48x42, 48x48, 42x42, 45x45, 44x44, or Euro size 471/2 x 41 pallet, our system can handle it all with precision and speed. With a run rate ranging from 7 to 15 seconds per pallet, depending on the size mix, this system ensures that your pallet handling needs are met, no matter the scale.
Components and Features
Robotic Pallet Handling: Two meticulously programmed robots form the heart of our system. These robots work seamlessly together to ensure that pallets are handled efficiently and accurately.
Vision System Integration: Our vision system plays a crucial role in pallet identification. The robots utilize this technology to determine the height and dimensions of each pallet. If any issues arise during a run, the vision system will alert operators immediately, ensuring a swift response to any anomalies.
Data Capture: For future analysis and optimization, all data from the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) can be captured. This feature allows for continuous improvement and fine-tuning of the system's performance.
Process Sequence
Our Pallet Delivery System follows a well-defined process sequence:
Pallet Loading: A forklift loads a stack of pallets onto the conveyor to kickstart the process
Conveyor Journey: The pallet stack travels along the conveyor to reach the first robot station.
Robotic Handling: The first robot takes pallets individually from the top of the stack and places them onto the lower conveyor. Using the vision sensor, the robot identifies each pallet's height and dimensions with precision.
Quality Control: Team members stationed on either side of the conveyor inspect the pallets for damage, removing any garbage or significantly damaged pallets. This step ensures that only quality pallets move forward.
Buffer Conveyor: Pallets flagged as damaged are ejected onto a buffer conveyor for rework or further processing.
Sizing Check: Pallets that pass the quality control stage move through a scanning area to verify their sizing.
Stacking: Common 48x48 pallets are stacked vertically before entering the robot area. A full stack is indexed out to keep the system running smoothly
Second Robot Handling: The second robot takes correctly sized pallets and stacks them for removal by a forklift. A light system indicates when a stack needs to be removed, ensuring a continuous flow of pallets.
Local Innovation
As a local Canadian company, we take pride in our commitment to support local businesses. We have partnered with another Canadian companies to provide the conveying system, making our Pallet Delivery System a truly a Canadian product, sold and supported by local guys.
